“No Trespassing” is an examination of my own identity using a physical and emotional search for my estranged father. Using professional investigation techniques and equipment, including multiple disguises as well as historical family documentation, I have pieced together a portrait of him. I periodically spent several days at a time photographing my father, his day-to-day life, as well as his surroundings without him knowing. My experiences in the search provided temporary isolation, allowing time to reflect on how my father has influenced me and if or how I will contact and reunite with him. I’m still undecided.
